A Classic Blue & Green Wedding at Old Overton Country Club
Brooke and Zach’s summer wedding at Old Overton Country Club was one of those days where every detail just worked together beautifully. From the soft blue and green color palette and floral bridesmaid dresses to the classic white florals and the sweetest four-legged guest, their day felt polished, joyful, and completely them.
The details alone had me in heaven. Brooke’s floral blue heels tied perfectly into their invitation suite, the bridesmaids wore the prettiest blue and green botanical dresses, and touches of pearl showed up throughout the day. With Symone Shaw-Denton of Engaged Wedding Library coordinating the day, everything felt cohesive without feeling overly matched, which made every part of the day photograph beautifully.
But as much as I loved all of the details, Brooke and Zach were the best part. Their portraits were romantic and effortless, their wedding party brought the energy, and by the time everyone made it to the dance floor, the celebration was fully underway.

A Wedding Day at Old Overton Country Club
Brooke spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids before slipping into her off-the-shoulder gown and finishing her look with pearls and the prettiest floral blue heels. Danielle Ivy Chip created Brooke’s bridal hair and makeup, and before the ceremony, we had plenty of time for bridal portraits, photos with her bridesmaids, and all of those little in-between moments that end up being some of my favorites from a wedding day.

Wedding Portraits at Old Overton Country Club
After the ceremony, we snuck Brooke and Zach away for a few minutes together around Old Overton. Their portraits felt romantic and effortless, and the evening light gave us the prettiest backdrop. And when you have a veil like Brooke’s, obviously we’re going to play with it.
Their golden retriever even joined us for portraits, which obviously made everything better.

Time to Celebrate
Once portraits were finished, it was time to celebrate, and their people came ready. Their reception was full of big laughs, a packed dance floor, and all of those moments where everyone completely forgets there’s a camera around.
DJ Breezy with Superior Sound Entertainment kept the dance floor packed, and Brooke and Zach were right in the middle of it all, which was the perfect ending to a wedding that felt classic and polished while still being an absolute blast.
